Twain's 'Joan' Given to Yale

REDDING, Conn., Dec. 13 - The daughter of Mark Twain left the original manuscript of his novel, "Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc," to Yale University, and other unspecified manuscripts and letters to the University of California at Berkeley. The daughter, Mrs. Clara Clemens Samossoud, died in San Diego, Calif., on Nov. 19.
