MARK TWAIN LETTER FOUND

LONDON, June 9 (AP) - The Soviet picture magazine Ogonek reported today the discovery of a hitherto unknown letter by Mark Twain. The magazine said the letter, dated April 23, 1891, was addressed to a Russian "revolutionary" writer, Stepnyak-Kravchinsky. The text of the letter was not given in the Moscow radio report of the discovery. Ogonek said the two writers met in 1891 when the Russian visited the United States to organize a "Society of the Friends of Russian Freedom."
