MARK TWAIN ITEMS TO YALE
Morse Collection in California is Crated for Shipment

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23 (AP) - A large collection of Mark Twain mementos, more than 2,000 manuscripts, letters, books, etc., is being crated here for shipment to Yale University.

The collection was amassed by Willard S. Morse, mining executive. Upon his death the mementos were bought by Walter F. Frear, Yale alumnus, for his alma mater.

The writer's daughter, Mrs. Clara Clemens Gabrilowitsch, who lives in Hollywood, assisted in cataloguing the items.
