Mark Twain Letter Sold for $390

One of the longest letters by Mark Twain ever offered at auction was sold last night in the American Art Galleries at the sale of the collection of the late William F. Gable, of Altoona, Pa. The letter was bought my Merrit Johnson, and brought $390, the highest price of the day.
