MARK TWAIN'S HOME SOLD.
Mrs. Margaret Given Becomes Owner of Humorist's Connecticut Estate.

REDDING, Conn., Dec. 27. - Stormfield, the home of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain), on Redding Ridge, in which he spent the last few years of his career until his death, 1910, will pass into the hands of Mrs. Margaret Given of New York City, as the result of arrangements completed through the trustees of the humorist's estate, it was announced tonight.

The estate which consists of 248 acres of land and an Italian villa, was planned by Mark Twain as a country retreat. It has been unoccupied since his death, and will be remodeled by its new owner.
