REDDING, Conn., April 17. - According to those in attendance, Samuel L. Clemens, (Mark Twain,) who is ill at his home, Stormfield, seemed a little improved today. Mrs. Ossip Gabrilowitsch, Mr. Clemens's daughter who reached New York Saturday fro abroad, arrived here today, and her presence seemed to brighten her father very materially.
