SAN FRANCISCO DRAMATIC CHRONICLE, January 1, 1866, [p. 2].

TOO "MINUTE"

In describing Holt's new map of Nevada, the little Call says it "embraces the whole State, showing the accurate location of mountain ranges, lakes, streams, and all the principal mines of Washoe, Esmeralda and the Reese River country," and then it "goes back" on the statement by asserting that "the map is very minute!" Don't expand and then contract your stories in that way any more, little Call. Such elasticity is certainly thrilling to contemplate, but then it is reprehensible. It won't do, you know.
